Volunteer with AFSG

AFSG is powered entirely by volunteers who give their time and skills to support our community. Every contribution makes a real difference.

Make a Real Difference in Your Community

Our volunteers are the heart of AFSG. Whether you're a parent, a professional, a student, or simply someone who cares about inclusion and autism awareness, there's a meaningful role for you.

You don't need specialist knowledge – just time, enthusiasm, and a desire to help. We provide all the support and training you need.

All volunteers who work directly with children or vulnerable adults will be required to complete Garda vetting.

Volunteer Forms & Garda Vetting

Autism Family Support Group – Garda Vetting Form

If you want to volunteer for our main group to get involved in support, advice, events and generally assisting a community of like-minded people coping with ASD, you are required to complete a Garda vetting application. This is a legal requirement for all volunteers working with children or vulnerable adults in Ireland.
